Eight UC athletes posted perfect 4.0 GPAs in the classroom, leading a list of 181 athletes honored for their winter quarter academic performance.

Raymond Walters College named Eric Broyles as this year's Distinguished Alumni Award recipient. Broyles graduated high school at the bottom of his class, but perservered at RWC. He's been so successful since that he was able to buy the company where he worked part-time as a college student.

UC faculty with an interest in technology as a teaching tool are invited to attend a workshop later this month. Titled "Taking Blackboard to the Next Level," the workshop will be held on Thursday, April 24, in UC's Event Pavilion.
