Balkans Expert To Deliver Law's Immigration And Nationality Lecture

Andre Gerolymatos, director of Hellenic Studies at Simon Fraser University and an international authority on Greece and the Balkans, will be speaking on "Nationalism and Ethnic Conflict" on March 31 at 3 p.m. at the UC College of Law. He is the 2005 distinguished lecturer for the journal "Immigration and Nationality Law Review," which is based at the college.

Deadline Approaching For Summer Honors Opportunity

The former director of the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency, Thomas Graham, will be at UC to deliver a talk on "The New Nuclear Age" on March 31 at 6:30 p.m. in Room 112 of Lindner Hall. This Taft lecture is a unique opportunity for UC students, faculty, staff and others to hear a veteran diplomat who worked over two decades with major world leaders on the world s foremost security issue.

Organizational Culture Guru Stephen Lundin To Speak At UC

The Fellows of the UC Graduate School are presenting an April 7 lecture on campus by organizational culture expert Stephen Lundin. He is the co-author of the best-seller, "FISH! A Remarkable Way To Boost Morale and Improve Results," which was inspired by the philosophy of Seattle's world-famous Pike Place Fish Market. The lecture is at 4 p.m. in Room 112 of Lindner Hall, followed by a reception and book signing at 5 p.m. on the 6th floor of Lindner Hall.

On Your Mark, Get Set, Argue!: Law School Group To Sponsor Fund-raising Race

Want to see a lawyer sweat? Try running next to one in the 2005 Race Judicata 5k Run/Walk, that will be held on the streets around campus on April 2. Pre-registration ends on March 25. The event benefits the Summer Public Interest Fellowship Fund of the college's Public Interest Law Group, allowing UC law students to serve during summer months with agencies working on behalf of the public interest.
