Professional Summary
My professional background includes 30+ years of working with college students at both the University of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky University. It is amazing to me how much has changed and how much has stayed the same through this time. Joining the Pre-Professional Advising Center in fall 2014, I welcome the opportunity to integrate my experiences and leadership in higher education from multiple areas including: Academic Advising; Testing & Disability Services, Wellness Program development, Facility management/planning, and Teaching.
The Pre-Professional Advising Center is a premier advising team that brings together all of our strengths in support of student success in the professional application environment. Working collaboratively across campus we invite students and colleagues alike to reach out to our office with questions and ideas.

Professional Summary
I have been at the University of Cincinnati on a full-time basis since August, 2003. My experience includes career advising in the Career Development Center, proactive/intrusive advising in the Center for Access and Transition, exploratory(undecided) advising in the Center for Exploratory Studies, and pre-health and pre-law advising in the Pre-Professional Advising Center. In addition, I have designed and taught introductory courses in career and major exploration, public speaking and interpersonal communication, and college success skills. I am very interested in student development and experiential learning, particularly service learning.
The energy, passion and commitment that I see in pre-health and pre-law students makes my current role in the Pre-Professional Advising Center very challenging and very fun!
