Why study Nursing Education?

The Nurse Educator Certificate program equips bachelor’s-prepared nurses and graduate degree nurses with the skills needed to succeed in teaching roles, and become leaders in academic practice settings. Courses provide instruction on curriculum design, learner development and assessment, outcome evaluation, and functioning within an educational environment.

Admission Requirements

A bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution

Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

Active, unrestricted RN license

Nurse Educator Certificate: 

Graduates are prepared to sit for the National League for Nursing (NLN) exam for certification as a Nurse Educator (CNE).

The information provided is sourced from a third party, Lightcast. Their product, called Career Coach, combines extensive labor market data from Lightcast and the U.S.Bureau of Labor Statistics. It provides insights on industry, occupation, compensation, and projected growth for each profession. Economic and workforce information is available for various geographic regions. Some careers may require additional training or education.
To obtain certificate, all four courses must be completed.

TOEFL and IELTS scores required:

·       Internet-based TOEFL score of 100

·       Computer-based TOEFL score of 250

·       Paper-based TOEFL score of 600

·       Overall IELTS score of 7.0
