Admission Requirements

Graduates of this specialty meet educational requirements to take exams for national certification. Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) provide a wide range of primary care services across the lifespan, from performing physical exams and educating patients on disease prevention to ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing, prescribing medications, and treating acute and chronic illnesses, conditions, and injuries.
