This class will be combination of book discussion and comics drawing workshop! The instructor will share a brief history of queer comics as well as examples and recommendations for further reading. Then we will do some journal-comic style drawing and writing exercises to explore our own queer lives in the form of comics! Supplies for drawing are included.

Anjali Alm-Basu
Anjali Alm-Basu studied under local comics artist Carol Tyler at UC College of DAAP. They have a broad knowledge base in comics and illustration, teaching for several years in the Cincinnati area.
