The conference, created in collaboration by UC's 1819 Innovation Hub and UC Digital Technology Solutions, works to bring together students from local schools for a day of inspiration, robotics and cutting-edge AI exploration. Due to overwhelming interest from schools across the region, the university added a second conference date so other schools could participate.

Local media covered the daylong sports event which showcased some Cincinnati's finest high school athletes. Proceeds from the event benefited Project Connect.

The University of Cincinnati is making college more attainable for students across Ohio with the creation of the Bearcats Affordability Grant. The new grant will provide a pathway to tuition-free college for students of families who make less than $75,000 per year. Beginning in fall 2026, the Bearcats Affordability Grant will cover the remaining cost of tuition for Ohio residents who are Pell eligible.
